  1. I found a nice store, The Bookstore of Burnet, located at 1011 E Polk (Hwy 29) in Burnet. The owner said she had been in business for 19 years and has an inventory of 80,000. Her #(512)756-2551

  2. I encourage everyone to find A Texas Cowboy in Tuscany on Amazon written by yours truly. A shameless plug I know but you won't be sorry.

  6. Thanks for listing Burrowing Owl Books! I clicked on our facebook link on your site, and it's not the correct one! We had issues with the first link, and had to create a separate one. Here's the link! https://www.facebook.com/burrowingowlbookstore/ Thanks for supporting our little shop! Really appreciate it.

  9. Hi, I'm in Virginia and looking for an indie bookstore near Kemp, TX. Not being familiar with Texas geography beyond the big cities, can someone suggest places on this list that may be close? Thanks.

  10. Unfortunately, Hester's Bookstore has ceased operations. The owner had fallen ill and decided to close it in late 2016. It's a comic book store now. She was going to attempt to open again in downtown Lubbock. Don't know what's come of it.
