  1. Have two projects in the works. The first one is a children's picture book entitled "Pancake the Texas Cat"
The second is a collection of stories about life with animals on a small north Texas ranch. Entitled "Tails of the Ranch". City girl meets country, similar plot to the old movie "The Egg and I" Not sure who to contact. Thanks, Cathy Mounce

  2. Greetings. I wanted to find out if there is a proper way to begin a literary agency, or at least a branch of an already-exiting one. I live in San Antonio and don't see any publishing house or literary agent representation here, so I thought I might discuss with one of my other writer/editor friends about starting up something. I welcome any insights you can provide.

  10. I am needing an agent to help me publish a nonfiction book.

My book refutes the controversial claim that the United States as a nation is not friendly or welcoming to immigrants and explaining the reasons and forces that make it appear to be that way. I wrote it from my own experiences being a first-generation Hispanic immigrant able to successfully assimilate into the American culture. I relate my own experiences and share my own perspectives to most of the controversial issues of today.

I believe good Americans and immigrants alike fight a constant internal struggle with the contradiction that exists between what they feel in their hearts and what the hear in the news and the media. They are hungry for common sense perspectives to help them make sense of it all. They are passionate about this issue because it represents whom Americans truly are as people, and my book is an effort to endorse Americans as a great people and the United States as a great nation.

I came to the United States at the age of 18 over 30 years ago by myself and without being able to speak English. I am in a mixed marriage with a beautiful southern wife and 3 mixed children. I earned 2 bachelor’s degrees in business and advertising as well as an MBA, and I hold a humble executive position at a small multinational company.

You can contact me at kasoshai@sbcglobal.net
