RIP Gabriel Garcia Marquez

    1. I'm glad you appreciated this post. Gabo is one of my favorite authors ever. As for why the US doesn't have more so say about him I think we probably know the answer to that. Only 3% of fiction published in this country is in translation. The country suffers from a general myopia and our attention spans are short. This isn't true of everyone, of course. Many of us will always love him.
